ex-QE2 QG Maitre'D, Dennis

Does anyone know if Dennis, the Maitre'D on the QE2, has now transferred to the QV or the QM2? and is he still in the Queens Grill?

the last I heard when on board in May - I was in QG Restaurant where Beniamino Acler - excellent Maitre D' who I understand was on QE2 before was the Senior Maitre D' on board & David Chambers ex QG QE2 Maitre D was the MD for the Princess Grill. - was that Denis lasted only a few days on QM2 and then due to ill health had to leave the ship & one assumes Cunard altogether! I also understand from a conversation with Mr Chambers that he was hoping to transfer to QV later this year to do his final few months of service.before he retires.

 

They both are / were a very hard act to follow and will very much be missed on board the new Queens.
