New England weather

What's the weather like on a summer cruise to new england in the middle of the ocean? I'm familiar with the port weather but will it be warm enough to use the pools? Should we pack shorts or just pants?

Usually in the mid/upper 70's on nice summer days. Can still be in the 50's at night. Sometimes the fogbank and lurk offshore 20 miles or so, so you still may have to contend with that. I would plan on summer wear, but probably bring jeans and a sweatshirt/sweater as well for the evenings and fog.

are the ships super airconditioned as well?

Bring a swimsuit.........

and bring a lighweight hoodie.

You probably will use both.
