March or October?

I am trying to decide between taking a PG cruise in March 2013 or October 2013. My husband is an avid photographer and both of us love to snorkle. I would like to have the best chance of good weather on this trip. Those of you who are veteran cruisers to FP which month would you choose?

October is the best we have looked into this question about visibility and it is calmer and clearer underwater at the early part of their summer. It was the same in the Great Barrier reef and it was perfect in early Dec..

We were there this past October and we had great weather and the whales happened to be there also.
