Thinking of doing a 7 night on Apex in two years. This would be our first Apex cruise and trying to get a real verandah without getting an expensive suite. This leaves the Sunset Verandah. Our last aft cruise was a pre-covid on HAL in a Neptune aft corner. You could smell the fumes in the stateroom, it was noisy from the engines, and the room vibrated all night. The room was beautiful, but it scared us from aft rooms. It was very nice to be able to see both sides of the ship from behind. How are the Apex aft rooms?

It is per day all or nothing i.e. cannot say I want it just on sea days. As I recall, bars are closed on disembarkation day and you are limited to what is in the buffet.

If this happens, there will be five of us DH, myself and three others.

Oh that's right My Time is not assigned. We always do My Time. Early seating you are rushed too much from ports and late seating I am chewing on the furniture by 6 PM.

I always print out the express pass as a backup just in case the app has connectivity issues.

I saw the cruise next year I have my eye on with Celebrity makes a stop at Coco Cay. I am one of those people that all I have to do is think about spending time in they sun and I will burn. How much are the cabanas, what is included with them, and what is the price?

I may be having a 60th birthday bash with three others in June on the Harmony. Those who follow me and my comments, I am surprised I even what to do a mega ship like the Harmony, but it works out for everyone. DH and I will book our cabin with our favorite AAA travel specialist, but I am not sure the other three are AAA members or not. They are booking their own air and cruise bookings. With that, how can we get our reservations all linked up together so our table assignments in the main dining room are together?

While I was in chat about some other issues, I asked about the allotted arrival time. My previous Seattle cruise in Sept 2022 we showed up about 2 hours earlier and had no problem. Coming out of Covid I think they just wanted us to move on and not hang around. We were still having to mask up in the terminal building. The chat agent told me, correct that was the case back then but now they are trying to get passengers to stick to the allotted time. She did say I could show up early and ask and they can see if they can accommodate, but to be prepared to go into holding until our time.

I have seen several threads on here, which I cannot find, stating they do not show any activities or menus for their cruise. I too noticed that as I am repeating my previous Alaska cruise going the second week of the season instead of the end of the season as we did in '22 and could fully plan a month or more ahead of time. The response was: The information varies depending on ship and sail date. We also adjust or modify some setting on the Celebrity App. Hopefully will be available before you set sail, but it is not you will find it on embarkation day.

Mystery resolved. The agent saw in the shopping cart I had an upgrade even though I had already purchased it. She cleared it and confirmed that we are on premium.

I would say if you cannot fly with it, you cannot sail with it.

Back in April 2023 I purchased the upgrade to the premium package for my cruise leaving on 31 May this year. This morning I had an email stating I am on the Classic Package and asking if I want to upgrade. Should I panic? I have the printout of the purchase. I am waiting for an agent in chat now. If when I arrive at the port they show I am classic, do I talk to them or someone onboard?

I do know that X offers a Move Up program. Once the dust settles from people moving up and if there is a higher category than what I booked, any likelihood the so called upgrade fairy might pay a visit? I think I read somewhere industrywide across all lines the upgrade fairy has had her wings clipped and it doesn't visit nearly as often.
