  1. I agree. Add to that he did not announce his departure and RC had a replacement immediately taking his spot. Had he left on his terms he would have announced his departure with a glowing review of his replacement. One can only hope that his leaving was not due to a medical/health issue.
  2. Less than 12 posts in and it is already already turning into a tipping thread.
  3. Princess was bowing down to her, and we are definitely her servants. Us too, that it worked out. LOLOL Thankfully we haven’t, but she made herself feel at home. The poor thing had one bad dripping eye. Had no one claimed her she’d be to the vet for it and to be fixed, but not our concern now.
  4. Thanks to community group phone chats we discover that Princess was visiting us from a farm a mile away. She’s a year old female who took a road trip from neighbours to the east. They came and picked her up, and Lucy was happy to see her go. Better yet, they also left us some maple syrup from our trees that we let them tap. A win-win for Lucy and us.
  5. We had a bit of Mother’s Day drama here that has slowly percolated since Friday morning. We found this cat sleeping in Lucy’s chair Friday morning. Lucy was away on patrol until Saturday afternoon so no issues, right away. We didn’t feed the newbie and there was water to drink in the puddles. We didn’t know how they’d do with each other, but we saw this late morning today. The black cat was loud with meows when Lucy was further away but got quiet when she got closer. We had what we call a Mexican Stand-off most of the day. At one point I even had peeping eyes looking in.
  6. I’m here for the adventure. Safe travels and that was a great gift for your son.
  7. I hope you can see them. A quick video from our place. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C61TCgsLWzC/?igsh=MTkwbjQzNmRzbzUzYg==
  8. That sucks. They are supposedly visible again tonight. You could kind of see what was going on with your eyes, but if you open up your camera on your phone, that’s when they really became visible. I hope you guys have better luck tonight.
  9. A few photos from here last night. Just had to walk out past the barn lights for the best views. I’ve never seen them like this at home ever. I’ve seen them at our place in Alberta but that is much further north. I thought Hailey’s Comet was amazing but this beat it hands down.
