  1. The transfer leaves as soon as the bus fills to take you to the airport. The expectation is that you go to the airport when you disembark. I would look into cancelling the transfers you bought and make independent plans so you can tour Vancouver. There might be an option for a post cruise tour, but you will still be at the airport for many hours.
  2. All restaurants are "specialty dining" but no charge. There is no main dining room. No buffet, but it's more of a food hall. Entertainment a bit more risque.
  3. What you see is what you get. The menus don't change (except for Test Kitchen, where they rotate). There will also be daily specials in the Galley.
  4. The day you check in, they wear a NCL tag. The next day it will be a RCI tag.
  5. I will be booking a last minute cruise on the Enchanted Princess for late June. It's been 12 years since we last cruised with Princess (timing just hadn't worked out). I know there has been lots of changes in those years (dining/etc). Anything major I should know about? I'm going to be booking a mini-suite at a minimum (I really like having a couch) so will probably book a reserve. Since we will be celebrating our 15th anniversary this year (we honeymooned on the Emerald Princess), I am considering splurging for a corner aft penthouse suite. Any opinions on whether or not it's worth it? The one thing that is making me want to book this suite is the size of the balcony. The ability to have my own lounge space on a holiday cruise sounds like a great idea.
  6. Personal opinion, late September is probably not the best time for Alaska.
  7. I'd be willing to guess that at the same time the ship is heading back, a Coast Guard boat is also heading out so as to meet in the middle to transfer the patient.
  8. Where is Key West on your itinerary? Is it the first stop, or on the way back? If on the way back, you'll need to go through immigration. Also, do you know where your docking? One of the docks used is on a base and requires transportation in/out. The other thing is Key West is clamping down on cruise ships. Some itineraries are being changed due to that.
  9. Unless your mum is going to be constantly recording, she won't have a chance to film you. It's all done live.
  10. I'm not sure you are allowed to bring a stand alone humidifier on the ship.
  11. Presuming you talked to guest services after this transpired, what did they say? I'm surprised they allowed the scooter to tender.
  12. I think you will be limited to NCL in September. In all honesty, I would wait and go next year.
  13. NCL has been doing the Friday-Friday Bermuda run from Boston for many years. I don't see that changing.
  14. While I have no personal experience with this group, it is my understanding that they actually do dress quite well for dinner.
