  1. With rioting in Noumea, New Caledonia is locked ďown, airport and ports. I hope this doesn't last too long and affect any cruises.
  2. The tripod would weigh more than an extra pair or two of knickers, but I agree washing along the way is easy, and housekeeping would see much worse than clean undies drying.
  3. A rope does both black and brown pants and still portrays that certain hillbilly chic.
  4. HAL have this type of arrangement, as do a few other lines. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. One issue we had on the last cruise was just a general lack of staff leading to longer dining times.
  5. Yes, but if you want interesting itineraries then that is par for the course

  7. It does and the shows are not as good as some other lines but the itineraries do tend to vary more.
  8. For me, the itineraries are key now as many other aspects of cruising has slipped or gone or just don't appeal so much anymore. Same shows same itineraries, etc. With that in mind, NCL, HAL and Azamara seem to have the better and much more varied itineraries. They are all in USD though.
  9. Yes, it doesn't happen with friends but it can happen with colleagues and acquaintances and occasionally extended family. CC friends may well fit into the friends group or the acquaintances group depending on how well you know them.
