  1. Too much to see just from the Sanctuary. I would rather walk the ship and see Glacier Bay from different spots.
  2. Glad it works for you. I have nearly "drowned" a few times when condensation built up in the hose. Quite a rude awakening in the middle of the night to hear gurgling sounds and water droplets dripping down the hose (gravity).
  3. How many people (at any one time) does the current Royal Class ship concierge lounge have? I see it as a place for an office. And a place where people will pop in to grab a bite/drink. Do passengers really lounge in the lounge? I will never find out since I won't cruise on these big ships. I would like this option on their smaller ships though. I think Princess will be surprised how many folks would cruise on a smaller ship that included all of the best. I'd even pay a little more. There is no right or wrong answer. Thanks to everyone who has participated in this thread.
  4. Need to get out of the mind set of putting it on the night stand. The CPAP is supposed to be below your sleeping level. The drawer works perfectly. The box needs to be slightly taller than the draw (6 - 8 inches). Either use it when packing or fold it flat and "expand" when you get to the ship. A regular cardboard box is sturdy enough without adding tape or other adhesives.
  5. Not flying is good. My collapsible stool worked for over 15 cruises. I finally stopped and either place it directly on the night stand or pack with a small box (multi-use). I am such a container fanatic.
  6. As of November 2023, suite breakfast was held in Sabatini’s. There was even breakfast served on disembarkation morning.
  7. I’ve only seen a disclaimer in T&C with NCL, specifically stated no outside food can be brought ON their (Hawaii) ship. After the fact. They did take away my plate lunch. Yet, I could bring lots of food ON to Princess on a Hawaiian voyage. On Princess, IN San Francisco, I’ve brought on beef jerky, salami, and moon cake. The safest thing to do is ask a Princess security officer in the terminal…and get a name………
  8. And the Grand (not propulsion) last season. I think the Radiance of the Sea boarded passengers then had them get off the next day?
  9. When I taught in Connecticut, one of my students was interested in the Iditarod. So she wrote to Libby. I was pleasantly surprised when my student received a personal letter from her. So sorry about the weather considering aft viewing would have been perfect. I still don’t know how you wrangled coming and going in the correct directions.
  10. Hawaii news reported that some were able to see the Northern Lights at 4 AM. Nothing for me in my state. Too much light pollution. City folk.
  11. If you have a table light, then you have a European plug behind/under the bed. If she is like her sister ship, there should also be an outlet behind the tv in an Ocean View cabin. My OV cabin bed was against the wall. Yours looks like it is under the window. May be different. Next time you go shopping, ask for a small empty box theft will fit inside the drawer. Turn it upside down and your CPAP will have a new home
  12. I have suggested that to the concierges on the Grand/GEM Class ships. I don't see why they could not take one of the venues (or a couple of inside cabins) and create a lounge. They could have even taken the cigar lounge and used it as a Concierge's Lounge instead of a useless..pathetic arcade.
  13. 1. I was stopped in Canada. They had me take my machine OUT OF THE BAG. 2. Only CPAP machine is supposed to be in the bag. But I have included an extension cord. 3. I wonder what they do with the extra distilled water. Even for a 25 day cruise, I could not use it all. Felt sooooo wasteful. 4. If there is no room in the overhead for your CPAP, the flight attendants will find somewhere to store it. They know they can't have you check it (they don't want that responsibility). 5. I have taken overhead carry on, under the seat personal (big) item, and CPAP. I have been questioned at the gate, but then they step back when I say CPAP.
  14. Don't forget nuts. Good source of protein and easy to eat. You can take off a bottle of water or a refillable container. No coffee off the ship.
