  1. In the interest of accuracy, I feel the need to correct some information in my original post. We visited Roatan in February and stayed on the island for 6 nights. During that time, we spent a couple of afternoons at the far end of West Bay beach where we snorkeled as part of our tour with Victor Bodden Tours. I mistakenly reported here that we got days passes at Paradise Beach when, in fact, the day passes were for Foster's West Bay Resort. Having stayed on the island now, I feel that the tour we did during our cruise was a great decision. We got to do several of the things that many consider "must do's" when visiting Roatan. And while Victor Bodden is a very reputable tour company, there are a number of other companies that do a fantastic job as well. If you search either here or on social media, you'll find recommendations for other companies that are highly rated and offer both group and private tours. Happy touring!
  2. DH and I had Emerald pins waiting for us in our room on Harmony this past September. I had put them in a closet and forgotten about them. So is it safe to assume that's not a real emerald in there?? 🤣
  3. Safe travels! Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us. I really enjoyed tagging along.
  4. I would definitely try snacks and wine at Vintages if you haven't done that yet. I'm sorry if I missed this, but have you tried the carnitas at El Loco Fresh? They were my favorite when I was on Oasis last year.
  5. Too funny! I just read the post where you tried one for the first time. I love that drink and will join your campaign to keep it on the menu when I'm on Wonder. I also like Scarlett's Tropical Sangria, but not as much as the Papa Jac.
  6. I love passion fruit too. Have you tried a Papa Jac? I can't remember which bars serve it, but I'm fairly certain I had a few on the pool deck. I bought some Reàl brand passion fruit puree infused syrup so I could make them at home. I'm almost caught up. This has been a terrific report so far!
  7. I love a good silent party, but only in the dark and in a place without a lot of non-participating spectators! I see the peach theme running throughout your report. Which peachy drink is your favorite?
  8. I'm very late to the party and have made it through the Disney World portion of your trip. I love all things Disney and loved reading about your experience. A few comments: 1. Your food and beverage game is so strong! I loved seeing what you ate and made a few notes for our next visit. I'll go looking for some of the snacks you shared, in particular. 2. Totally agree with you re: mobile ordering. Such a huge time saver at peak meal times! 3. Love, love, love your progressive dinner idea and have added this to my list for a future visit. 4. Did you try Satu'li Canteen during one of your visits to AK? It is my new favorite for quick service, which is saying something at AK. The bowls are amazing. 5. We also paid for ILLs twice during one visit to ride Guardians... and laughed all the way through both rides. That ride represents the very best of what their Imagineers can do. Luckily it's a slow day at work, because now I'm hooked and want to follow your adventures on the TA!
  9. As much as I love Oasis class, I'm really excited about the possibility of a smaller class of ship that has some of the newer amenities and venues and can go to more interesting ports. I'm tired of the standard eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.
  10. I’d book at that price and check occasionally to see if it drops further. The cheapest I’ve seen for my next sailing so far is $21.99 for 1 device.
  11. How many people will be in the room? DH and I travel with our DD, and we've stayed in both a CLS and 1-bedroom ATS, but not an owner's suite. I'm guessing you're looking at a 1BR ATS since a 2BR would be star class and likely much more expensive than the other two suites you're considering. We had an ATS on deck 11 on Allure. They do get smaller as you go up on both Allure and Harmony, so the largest 1BRs are on deck 11. We loved the ATS and spent a lot of time on the balcony, which was amazing. We liked that there was a door to the bedroom so it could be completely closed off from the living area. We didn't like that the one bathroom could only be accessed via the bedroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Note that the bathroom wasn't anything special. I've seen lots of comments about the low ceiling height, but my DH is 6'4" and had no issues. All things considered, we liked the CLS better than the 1BR ATS, but not by a lot. They both score high on the "wow factor" scale, but we really appreciated the second bathroom in the CLS. We would definitely not pay more for a 1BR ATS than we would for a CLS. Being on the same deck as CK and the SL was a huge plus for the CLS. We ended up using them much more than we did when we were in the ATS. If you're looking to try something really different, the ATS could fit the bill. The owner's suites look great on paper and I know they have a lot of fans, but I personally would rather book a GS and use the money I saved to splurge on other things.
  12. Thanks for the info and photos from your brunch at the Mason Jar. That's one of the things I'm most excited about on Wonder! I have to say, as good as a lot of their menu items sound, your DW's food looks amazing.
  13. Awkward Emerald here, and I wouldn’t say no to a free drink.
  14. I'm enjoying your Wonder trip report with a side of Disney! We'll be on Wonder for the first time in January (way too far off). Your photos are fantastic, and I'm loving all the food pics. We'll be visiting the Beach Club for the first time in January, and I can't wait! The price dipped to $152/person last week and I pulled the trigger. I agree with you about Castaway Cay. It has always been our favorite, but Coco Cay has really grown on us! We'll have the same itinerary in January, so I'm interested in seeing how you choose to spend your time in port. We've taken land trips to both St. Thomas and St. Maarten, so it's getting harder to come up with new and different things to do!
  15. Thank you for sharing your trip with us! It looked like you and your friends had an amazing week and made lots of incredible memories. I went back and looked at your plans from an early post. I have to know… Did you stop at the Thirsty Cougar, and get t-shirts??
