Red Hat Cruise Cat Posted November 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2010 Where do Princess cruise ships dock in Sydney?
succeed_2 Posted November 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2010 Cruise ships of all lines dock in Sydney at two locations, each of which can accommodate 1 vessel at a time. 1. Overseas Passenger Terminal - Circular Quay. 2. Wharf 5, Hickson Rd, Darling Harbour. The following link indicates the Port of Sydney berth allocation by date order for all cruise departures/arrivals. http://www.sydneyports.com.au/port_operations/cruise_schedule This list is sorted by date, so it is easy to find your departure/arrival. Look down the list then across to the right, to find the location. (copied from a previous post on Jun 30/10)
room010 Posted November 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2010 If you are lucky you will dock at the International Passenger Terminal at The Rocks area just to the right of the bridge and overlooking the Opera House. In the pic ^^^ there is ship (Cunard I think) docked there. Alternatively you will pass under the bridge and dock in Barangaroo. Either way it's quick and easy walk to Circular Quay and the ferries, shopping and trains.
moyaroo Posted November 21, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2010 The ship in the picture (if not changed recently) is the QE2.
