$50 deposits ???

I think I've seen a few times where Carnival has sales offering the lowered deposit and it wasn't a 'group' sailing. Does anyone know how often they do this?

they are doing a $50 deposit sale right now which i "believe" you have to sail by december of this year??.. i keep checking it too because $50 deposit is more my style.. lol...

"Official Vacation of 2014", on home page now, has reduced deposits.($50.00)

Lately it seems like they're offering this monthly. We missed it in May, sure enough another came up in June so we booked. Now July is here and we have another. Great deal for $50! As long as you're okay going without price protection or anything like that. My advice, only book on this sale if you're either completely satisfied with the cabin/fare as is, or you don't mind being out $50 if you need to change but want something "held" for now.

I have a group cruise on 6/6/2015 onthe Sunshine. It has $50 deposit and $75 on board credit.

They rotate their special "sales" and the $50 deposit comes up several times a year. Also "50% reduced deposit"

The current offer is only for crusies through Deecember 2014. I'm waiting for them to have some sort of reduced deposit for later in 2015.
