nevertolate Posted July 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Has any one booked a hotel for B/A on priceline, what hotels are close to the port as we love to watch the cruise ship come in.
sddsddean Posted July 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2012 I don't think there are any hotels near the port as it is an industrial area, so not very salubrious! However, there are literally hundreds of hotels all over the city. Simon
4774Papa Posted July 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2012 We will be looking for a good hotel for a few nights in Jan 2014. I usually start with TripAdvisor.
pmacher61 Posted July 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2012 The higher floors of the hotels in Puerto Madero (Hilton) and Retiro (Sheraton) probably have espcially good views of the cruise ship port, though I suspect decent views are available from the higher floors of all Recoleta hotels like Caesar Park, Sofitel, Four Seasons, Alvear Palace, etc
radsailor Posted July 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2012 Just booked our hotel in the Recoleta area based on a recommendation of someone who stayed there. Melia Recoleta Boutique Hotel.

Rare A Tucson Guy Posted July 26, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Going to BA 12-1-12 for four nights prior to a cruise. I am staying at the BA Marriott. Not terribly expensive and most of the reviews I have seen are positive and the location seems OK. I am sure I will be happy with the Marriott. Enjoy
dr__dawggy Posted July 28, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2012 Most of the Priceline rooms seem to be at the Sheraton Libertador, on Cordoba street in the downtown area. One block from Ave. Florida pedestrian Mall and the Galerias Pacifico shopping center. A short cab ride to the cruise terminal but rooms do not have a view of the port. Winning bids have been in the 75 dollar range but that may vary by season.
