Just found out I was chosen to be a host for March 29!! Should be fun!! Anyone else in the NY area???? :D

How did they let you know? I've been wondering if I was one of the lucky ones, but I guess I'm not.

The party's on in Nashville! :D I was also chosen to host one of these Sunday Fun Day parties! We were notified via email.

We're supposed to get a package of items to help the party along. I was wondering about the little towel animals. We're going to make some of our own, in addtion to having an ugly Hawaiian shirt contest.

Congratulations, NYTammy!

I'm interested to see how these parties work out. A big investment by Carnival, so it will be interesting to see if the "tupperware party" style of marketing works.

I don't think it is a big investment dollar wise for Carnival. If any thing it is a low cost way to boost bookings. They get 1000 existing clients to host parties for 20 or more people. The party package they send out sounds like it is just trinkets and such. If they get 1-2 bookings per party that relates to 1000-2000 additional bookings. No sales commisions, low advertising budget.

BTW we are hosting a party east of Houston.
