Rome - port to City with Cruising Excursions.com?

Has anyone used Cruising Excursions.com? They seem to run a shuttle from Civitavecchia to central Rome a lot cheaper than the ship's tours.

Any advice appreciated.

They are an agent, not a bus operator. I would be asking them who will actually be operating the shuttle and then see if anyone has experience of that bus company.

and MANY others. Summary: great prices, but customer service has left a lot to be desired.

As mentioned, they are not a tour provider, they are a broker, which injects another layer into the process. This might be the cause of their customer service problems.

Do yourself a favor and use ROMECABS. Top notch service and nothing to worry about.

I think I'll drop that idea!

We used them a couple of years ago for a tour to Pisa and Florence and were pleased. The bus was a bit old, but the guide was excellent and the price far better than the ship.

We have just finished a cruise Citevvechia to Citevvechia and used Bobs taxies from the airport to the ship and back to Rome after the cruise. We selected a shared transfer and there were 8 of us on the trip back to Rome, they were on time and very efficient would highly recommend them.
