5soccer9 Posted June 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Princess ship arrives at 7 am into Fort Lauderdale. Will 10:50 flight be ok out of Fort Lauderdale airport? Thanks
CruiserBruce Posted June 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2015 (edited) If you read down the board, you will read many are comfortable with 10:30 flights. Others with after 11. Are you willing to carry off your own bags and grab a cab? That is probably the key determinant. How many people in your group? Top 2 or 3 question on this board. jennmaybe Posted June 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2015 If you don't get held up with Customs, you could make it. Not a chance we would ever take, but many do with no issues. When we sailed Princess last, (a little over a year ago), we sailed on the Crown. We were in line in the MDR to self-disembark at 6:40am. It was 9am before we were actually walking off the ship. It was 9:45am before we were getting in a taxi. That's why we don't book anything before noon. :) I always recommend folks to have a Plan B in case you miss your flight. eandj Posted June 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2015 We have taken a flight at that time several times. We don't carry our bags off. But we make sure we get off by 8:00. Have never gotten to the airport after 8:45. Yes, delays could happen of course. But that flight is relatively easy to make. We take it because it's a nonstop home. And we do have flexibility if we missed it.
