November 15 Celebrity Silhouette

We have been to these islands many times .Our friends have not. However we have never been to FALMOUTH. DO any you have private guide suggestions or special places to check out. We do not mind joining a group to lower cost of private guide. Main stops are Cozumel Grand Cayman and Falmouth

Anyone know of private ship for 6-8 people that we could take with Captain for sail snorkel and beach. Thanks for all information

Know that. Also info in guide books and from cruise lines. Looking for private guide recommendations and/or personal experiences. Maybe that was not clear.

Falmouth - Time N Place Beach (never got there - more info on Jamaica board..If they get their transportation straightened out, this would be a good stop. We decided to just shop....the pool at Margaritaville still in progress)

As indicated above, more info in the Jamaica Board...However, would also like to add that we really felt uncomfortable walking to bank area in town to meet driver for Time N Place Beach. Very unfriendly people..Tried to pull a fast one on price of coconut...Then nasty when we questioned this.

Maybe this changed since we were there, but we've visited many ports that others disliked and were afraid of...We didn't feel unsafe in those. Falmouth was a different story for us though.

bocaraton - We are on your cruise as well and are wondering about Jamaica. Have never been to that port and we are not primarily up for sitting on the beach all day. If you find a snorkel/sail private tour we would be very interested in joining if you need additional people. We used to live in Playa del Carmen across from Cozumel so that one is no problem for us. Although, the sargassum situation in the Riviera Maya is so bad now I'm not quite sure which direction to head as of yet.

Have not found anything. If anyone does please post it. I understand Falmouth is not the safest port to walk around. Have been to Finns River Falls but it's a long ride and definitely for the physically fit. For this port we might to something from ship just to be safe
