Sonny Tours Aruba

I know I got this name from here but I'm just checking to see if anyone has used them recently? Was it a good tour?

We are doing a tour with him next week. I will post a quick review when I get back.

With the heart of Caribbean cruise season just starting up there are probably not many who have toured with him since last winter. Aruba has minimal cruise ships call from May through September. :(

I've just booked him for our cruise in January... he said we were the first to book on that date (need 6 for a tour)

Well I can't leave a review for Sonny since he pawned us off to a different company. Apparently he had trouble with his van the day we arrived.:rolleyes:

Anyway, we were met by Howard of HF tours who gave us a great tour of the Island and even drove us back from Palm beach to the ship. Pat from our roll call left a review on here.

You better make sure you confirm that HE will actually be doing the tour. This seems to be common practice in the Caribbean.

We just did an open air jeep tour this past week that we booked thru Sonny. Basically a private tour, only two couples. We pre arranged it on through emails. Anyway, we rode with Anton (hope I spelled his name correctly) and we had a great time. We were only supposed to be three or four hours but ran even longer at no extra charge.

Covered quite a lot of the island and he even stopped for us at a small local grocery so we could buy beer to drink on the tour. He does provide ice water but we wanted to have some local brew. Would do it again for sure.

Just to be clear, the open air jeep tour is not Sonny's "standard" tour. Sonny's own tour is a small tour bus.
