Recommend family hotel in Barcelona?

Can anyone recommend a hotel for 4 in 1 room - Wife, 2 teenage daughters and myself? Need for 1 night pre-cruise and 1 night post. Thanks in advance.

Check Venera.com and find hotels in Barcelona I always stay at Hotel continental.

Right on the Ramblas but I don't know if they have large rooms.

I pay 100 euro a day per room with 24 hours free buffet and drinks.

Also free internet.

Center off town. check there web site.

We prefer the Tryp Apolo Barcelona. We can walk from there to the port shuttle stop to take the shuttle bus to the cruise port.

The quad room as a separate area with 2 single beds for the teens and double doors that can be closed to separate that area from the main room where the adults sleep.

They also offer a free pass to a local gym with a swimming pool.

We stayed there twice with our older teen and young adult.

We stayed in one of the very large terrace rooms at the Hotel Barcelona Universal last September. That particular terrace room had a king sized bed in a separate bedroom. In addition to the oversized bathroom off of the bedroom there was another half bath. If my memory is correct the sofa in the living room was a sofa-sleeper.

We use Airbnb or VRBO for apartment rentals. Lots to choose from.

Well we're booked at Hotel Granvia pre cruise in late July. Now looking for post cruise hotel in early August since Hotel Granvia is booked up. Price ~ 200-300 for 1 family room.

:eek:We just booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. 3 blocks from Placa Catalunya for 95 euros/night. You could get a nice place for that budget.

If you're still looking for a hotel, there's lots to choose from.

Why not rent an apartment from Airbnb - i did that last time in the barceloneta area brilliant and lot cheaper
