We are scheduled to be in Curacao from 2-10. Was thinking of a Resort for a Day but think that may be a waste of money since we probably wouldn't get there until after 3pm. Does anyone have any other ideas on what to do?

We have a similar schedule, so decided to do a sunset sail. We are there in early Feb. so sunset is at an earlier time. We catch the sailboat at 3:30 (sail at 4 pm) for 2 hrs with drinks and appetizers, music, etc. Back on shore at 6-6:30 and will spend the evening in town someplace near the ship, but on the water for some more drinks and dinner!

Can I ask if this is a Ship excursion or a private one? If it's private, do you mind sharing the name of the company?

Private. We booked it through Shoretrips dot com. I've used them many, many times and always had a wonderful experience. Very reliable. It's a stateside company that contracts with local companies, so they are well vetted. We've got a number of people from our ship going on the sunset sail now as well!

Thanks. You don't by any chance know the name of the local company do you?

They use Bounty Adventures, the price includes R/T transport to the catamaran. I believe the name of the cat is the Jonalisa.

I'm trying to decide whether to book it through Bounty or Shoretrips. Does the R/T involve picking you up right at the pier and returning you to the pier afterwards?
