So in summary if you can get just a pass you have access to; pool? beach? restaurant?

Whereas if you purchase the day room pass you get access to all the above? And can you do room service since you'll have a room?

Just not sure what else to do in St Kitts...

Your Resort for a Day pass includes use of the resort facilities including the beautiful stretch of beach on Frigate Bay, beach loungers and cabanas, 3 pools, and lounge chairs. Need a break from the sun? Come try your luck the Royal Beach Casino or get pampered at the Emerald Mist Spa. Food, drinks and spa services are available for purchase onsite. Resort for a Day guests receive a 10% discount on food and beverages at Bohemia Pool & Beach Bar, Calypso Café, Calypso Restaurant, and the Pizza Shack. PLUS, Resort for a Day guests also receive 15% discount on treatments at the Emerald Mist Spa!

It seems likely you could use room service if you book a room, leave a card on file, etc.

We will be in St Kitts Dec 14, haven't made plans yet. Are there casinos here?

See above, though you'd probably want to look at the casino's website to see if it is suitable for you.

Been to Marriott's casino many times for slot play. I do know the tables open up much later than the slots at the Marriott, but don't know the time for table play. Plenty of taxis at the Marriott to take you back to the port/pier for approx. $6 pp one way.

There's also a small casino at the pier called Mapau Casino, have not been there.

Just visited St Kitts yesterday on Anthem. Highly recommend Carambola Beach Club about a 15-20 min taxi ride from the port.

I have read that it has become so popular that it can be very crowded. How did you find it. As I recall Anthem has a late arrival into port compared to other ports which can also make it harder to get a spot on the beach.

We emailed them in advance and reserved two chairs and umbrella. We paid $30 when we got there. They were ready for us right in the first row at the beach. It did get crowded as the day went on. The Anthem and Navigator were both in port. Try reservations@carambolabeachclub dot com in advance. It is a really beautiful spot on the Caribbean side with calm water. Restaurant is good but a bit pricey. There are other dining choices just a short walk down the beach.

I have actually been there before and loved it. I have always reserved ahead but you still do not get the best row if your ship is a late arrival. I just have read that it is getting so popular that it has a different feel than it once did.

  • 5 weeks later...
We tried to get a day pass for Dec 5th when Anthem stops there. Emailed the hotel directly and they responded that Day Passes were not available. Instead they tried to get me to sign up for a room for the day at $125 plus 25% taxes and resort fees.

We just got back from our Cruise. We went to the Marriott with a day Pass. It was beautiful. The pools were really nice, ocean was beautiful and the food was very good.

I called the hotel directly a few weeks before to make reservations. Cabs were no problem going or coming. When we were ready to leave they called for a cab for us and it was there in a few minutes. $12 for 4 of us.

If I go back to St Kitts I would definitely go there again with a day Pass.
