Has anyone taken the walking tour in Labadee?

We are looking forward to a good old beach day in Labadee, but saw the excursion for the "Historic Walking Tour. " Always interested in learning about the different places we visit. Has anyone taken this tour? Wondering if it's worth the money and time spent.

You know, you can walk it on your own....this is a private beach...not a lot of "history" to it. I wouldn't think paying to walk about would be worth it...at least..not for me! This is a manufactured area.

If all you want is a "good old beach day", then you can do that without paying one red cent!
