bulldogmommy Posted February 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Hey Guys, Can someone give me their experiences from Disney Resorts to the Oasis... Shuttle, Uber, Taxi, etc. Only 2 of us, so not sure a car rental will be worth it here...
Capt_BJ Posted February 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2017 actually a rental can be the least cost way IF you can get a good rate. Not uncommon to find a one way rental from parks to port for under $50 most shuttles are gonna run about $35 per person .... Mears is the big dog looking for transport from Orlando side from beach side I'd try Cocoa Beach Shuttle http://www.cbshuttle.com/ or Travelynx http://www.travelynxusa.com/cocoa/shuttle-cocoa-to-hotel.php
SteerageJoe Posted February 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Since it is the morning of your cruise AND it is the Oasis (traffic issues start just before 11am), my strong suggestion is to keep things simply and easy. Do not mess with shuttles - go Uber - but you can try a rental car as suggested if really cheap AND you are OK with arriving later rather than early. Here are the OASIS traffic at 11:10am - I learned a lesson when dropping friends. You can do this EARLY or LATER but not INBETWEEN or you will battle the masses. EARLY - Take an Uber to Grills Restaurant to arrive no later than 9am (75 minute drive). Have breakfast or drinks and watch the crowds starting to gather around the check-in area. By 10am you want to be in line to get through security with the first batch. LATE - Take an Uber around noon to arrive around 1:15pm. You will probably walk straight in and aboard! Talex831 Posted February 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Uber from WDW to Canaveral? Wouldn't that be expensive? We always rent a car for under $40, return car to agency and they shuttle to the port. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
