Pinel Island - topless?

Cruising in July with 11 people, with 5 kids. 13 and 10 year old boy, 10 and 6 year old girls, and infant. St. Maarten is one of our ports. Would love to spend the day at Pinel Island. How popular is it for women to go topless here at Pinel Island? Thanks

It is not that common. It is most common on the Karibuni beach - side farthest from ferry dock.

You never know on Pinel. Little Bay is a good choice for a family that is concerned about toppless beach goers.

We spent our day on Pinel Island while in St. Maarten while on a cruise in May 2013. There was one woman who chose to go topless that we observed. She appeared to be middle aged (late 50's, early 60's) and didn't exactly have the best "build", but she was the only one we noticed. This was at at the Yellow Beach restaurant/bar side, just a little further down from the ferry dock. They had little tables that they'd put in the water to stand at and eat, and she was one of two women eating there, so that's how we "noticed" her. The other woman was wearing a top. I second Divi Little Bay if this is a concern. We did spend several hours there on our most recent cruise in 2015 and really enjoyed it, and the views.
