What's going on Fort Lauderdale 24th-27th May 2018 please ?

just looked at booking Embassy Suites for 24th-27th May 2018 but booking.com and hotels.com showing fully booked.

Anyone able to hazard a guess why, please ?

Looking to book cruise our of Port Everglades and this is hotel we have used previously.

Most hotels will only book a year out -- you are about a week early.

Memorial Day in 2018 is 5/28, so you are looking for the holiday weekend - be prepared to pay.

Thanks for replies. Will look again in week or so.

Other hotels are showing prices so maybe we'll have to look at them. It's easier when you know where you are going and what's available within walking distance though.
