  1. We have done this with Royal Caribbean a couple of times…grandparents, parents and child. We needed a suite for the family and then three adjacent balcony cabins. We searched for what we needed..and found cabins sandwiched between two passenger decks. Took booking to travel agent…all was well..until….RCCL moved the ship we were due to sail on to another destination. We were meant to be allocated like for like cabins on new ship. Difficult to get family together as only one suitable week each year. We are still waiting for the final re allocation of cabins but looks like we may have lost our adjoining cabins..Our agent has been very good..she has tried so hard to get the chosen cabins, but has now been told by RCCL to stop chasing them as they have protocols to follow. Haven’t had this type of issue with previous family cruises with RCCL and others…suppose Covid has much to answer for regarding change of ship location ! Good luck with your booking. The earlier you book, the better chance you have of adjoining cabins.
  2. Thank you for trying to be helpful, but this only shows Coral up to January 22 which we already knew about..looking for information about Spring..or Feb-May 22. Thanks again.
  3. Thank you, that’s helpful..but first Coral and her crew have to be allowed in ! Fingers crossed.
  4. Thank you….wish someone would tell Princess and they could make a decision. Not sure what we’ll do if it gets to Final Payment date……
  5. Just wondering whether anyone has heard anything about Coral Princess cruises in Australia for Spring 2022. Have read they have cancelled until Mid January 22, but starting to become concerned that we haven’t had any news. My thoughts are:- Princess may not take Coral Princess to Australia for half a season Crew may not be allowed into Australia. International Passengers may not be allowed into Australia Coral Princess might sail to Australia with Australian Passengers only. Coming up to final payment shortly and need to transfer money of we are able to travel. Read on Cruise `Critic there will be no NZ cruises till Oct 22. Thanks in Advance for any confirmed news…speculation not helpful.
  6. Dear Guest, We previously shared that we were moving your reservation to Wonder of the Seas in a like-for-like stateroom by 13 October 2021. Unfortunately, it's taking us longer than expected. We're sorry for the delay, our teams are working around the clock to get your reservation updated. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to shifting an entire season of sailings and rebooking all guests. We now expect to have all moves completed by 3 November 2021. Please note that there's no need to call us, and no additional action is necessary on your part. We'll send an updated reservation confirmation with your revised details to the email address on file as soon as your reservation has been completely updated with the pricing fully adjusted. In the meantime, we ask that you please bear with us as we work to make this process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions, please contact your Travel Advisor immediately or contact us via our webchat service. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. Sincerely, Royal Caribbean International
  7. Agree..and very annoying that our cabin hasn’t been re allocated for a May cruise, when others with same cabin category in July have !!!!!
  8. Email was unsolicited, arrived this evening.. Presume others received it…
  9. Very disappointed to receive email from Royal Caribbean , to say transfer of cabins from Allure to Wonder of the Seas will not be completed by 13th. October, as previously promised. They are now saying they expect all moves to be completed by 3rd November. Disappointment has been exacerbated when reading that cabins have been transferred for July cruises, when ours (same category cabins) in May have not been moved over.
  10. Wow..that sounds dreadful. Think it’s time for more calls.
  11. That sounds good work by TA. Our email from Royal said transferred cabins would be price protected…but not impressed with RC’s handling of situation. Our TA has tried hard Bu has been dealing with very rude customer service agents…think she may have been black balled due to the number of calls she’s made!
  12. I appreciate there is a lot of work to do, but feel RCCL should still have made the changes earlier, before opening to new bookings. I didn’t think Wonder was much larger than Allure, so re allocating shouldn’t have been that difficult. Further , when four cabins are linked, they are only offering like for like if the four cabins are adjoining on new ship.
  13. We still haven’t heard any more about three of our four linked cabins. Am very disappointed that linked cabins would not be allocated early on, especially before booking open for new customers. Suppose we have to wait till 13th, then decide if we want to cancel.
  14. Our cruise on Allure of the Seas has been cancelled and repositioned, and the ship replaced by Wonder of the Seas. We seem to have been waiting a long time to receive the new cabin allocation. Our travel agent has been told to stop ringing RCCL asking for information and they will let us know when they have made the changes. One of cabins has been re allocated but no news on others. Has anyone received their new allocation yet please. ? Many thanks.
  15. Have never made a S75 claim but sure I have read somewhere on these boards that claim must be made within a certain time frame ! I would think TA is struggling and needs support after such a difficult 18 months. Obviously your decision, but personally, I would wait till final payment.
  16. This is the reason COVID is still circulating. Cannot believe anyone would suggest this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Would expect to need a negative test prior to International Flight, but staying three days pre cruise would mean another test two days before cruise. Would be good to know where to get Princess approved test.
  18. Would this make it more difficult than testing positive three miles away ? At least you would know where to go to be tested, the cost and that you were having the test accepted by Princess/ or other specific cruise line’s requirements.
  19. Ubers/Taxis would be fine but additional ‘angst’ could be avoided for passengers, by cruise lines setting up their own testing in an hotel close to port, as mentioned in previous post. Such is life at the moment, we all have to do what we have to do to cruise, but I think cruise lines could be more supportive.
