We have done it two times and really had a good time. They use two catamarans with two different crews, we were lucky and had each one. They interact with you wonderfully. The excursion starts with a safari truck ride to the marina on the east end of the island, where you board the catamaran for the sail across Pillsbury Bay to Honeymoon Bay. At Honeymoon Bay you spend about an hour or so snorkeling and or time on the beach. To get to the beach you can swim or take a rubber dingy. The beach is small and sort of secluded. There are no concessions there. The snorkeling is alright, there are fish and turtles, but you really have to look for them. On the return trip champagne, rum punch and snacks are served. We were going to do this again this February but decided to go to our favorite beach, Trunk Bay also on St. John.
