Binoculars in state rooms?

Recommended Posts

None in mine on deck 7. I have some astronomy binoculars (long barrel/high power) that I brought. The dark nights make for amazing views of the night skies!

We always carry small, decent-quality "travel" binoculars (7 x 26) on cruises, including the South Pacific. We would not think of packing without including them. Besides the spectacular scenery, there are seabirds and (in the right places) dolphins and whales. For anyone interested in landbirds, the native landbirds in FP have been seriously depleted through human intervention, but some species are still present -- mainly in the island interiors.
