advice traveling with 9 & 11 year old

My husband and I are taking our two nieces on a cruise. Can anyone recommend the best place to take them while in port? I know they love to swim! Any recommendations are most welcome.

Yes take them to the Sea Aquarium beach - lovely safe beach, lots of cafes and shops and the sea aquarium at the end of the beach - dolphin shows 3 x a day plus a wonderful sea lion show whcih explains all about the lovely creatures

Thanks so much! Could you tell me how long it takes to get there? Is it reasonable to take a cab, etc.?

It will be more reasonable if you take a short walk across the floating bridge - which is always worth doing and there is a taxi rank just up the street leading off the bridge
