Dinner night before cruise

We will be traveling with the kiddos. 4, 7 and 15.

What would be a good family friendly place to have dinner? We are looking for something that has a new orleans flare... nothing too expensive either. (Around 15-18 a plate).

We will be staying in the French Quarter area. (St Christopher).

Cafe Maspero on Decatur might be a good option for you. It's in the French Quarter. Fairly reasonably priced.

A couple of other suggestions: Deanie's on Iberville Street and New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company on Decatur.

Both are family-friendly, have kid's menus and serve large portions at reasonable prices.

Both have web sites with menus.

Also check out Crescent City Brewhouse. I have also heard that Muriel's on Jackson Square as a kids menu (have to call to find out what's in it). Muriel's is a great, authentic, NO dining experience.

The Red Fish Grill on Bourbon is wonderfully delicious! We always head there as our first choice.
