DW and I are considering Maya Key for our Jan cruise on the Dream. I was curious as to how long the boat trip was to the island, and where do you actually depart from?

Thanks!

10-15 minutes. You meet the guide off the deck of the ship. They will walk you past some of the shops down towards the beach/ocean. 5 minute walk or so.

We went to Maya Key 4 years ago and loved it...would definitely recommend going there!

fully agree with you. and if you like to snorkel, it is a great place to do that. Just make sure you go thru the underwater path to the rim of the reef, then circle it from the outside.

We had a blast at Maya Key when we went (although it was on a NCL ship, which docks right beside it basically).

I have a full review of our day there with TONS of pictures, listed in my signature line, if you are interested.

Over view of Maya Key...you can see the air strip right by it and then Mahogany Bay is right after that.
