Need ride from phila area to join qm2 in brooklyn on jan 3

Have you checked out the Amtrack schedule? http://www.amtrak.com/train-schedules-timetables

Hailing a cab from Penn Station to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal shouldn't be a problem (but if the cabbie objected, I wouldn't argue). Suggestion: have directions from Penn Station to the Red Hook terminal ready. http://www.nycruise.com/brooklyn-terminal/directions/

Edited to add: I believe you received good advice previously regarding thread subject and where to post questions relating to specific voyages http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1934905

The only place on CC where one can ask for ride or tour shares is on the Roll Call board for that voyage. You can find the Jan. 3rd QM2 sailing here:

Also, you are leaving the subject line blank when you post and it defaults to your screen name "bjment". Nobody knows what your are asking with the subject "Bjment" and many will just skip over and not bother to open it. You will get more responses if members can see what information you need.

Good advice Whitemarsh!

Forgive my judgemental comment, but if I was taking a world cruise on QM2 I'm not sure I'd be waiting until now to ask for a ride to the port.

Don't all passengers get a limo to the port to board QM2 -- if not, then they should :)

Actually - on the two occasions we have sailed on QM2, we did once arrive by limo -- and on the first time, we arrived by boat and boarded the ship through a BIG "hole" in the ship's side :) - almost directly into the Queens Room. So basically the first thing we saw of the ship was the Queen's Room (a BIG first impression)-- and the white gloved staff helping us through the hole :)
