Carnival Aust (on board credit)

Hi, We are booked on the Carnival Legend sailing in Nov. can any one tell me that has cruised with carnival before if the onboard credit is supposed to show up in your booking summary?

We booked through a online agency it does show up there but I can't see it on the carnival site. I thought that if there is a problem its better to sort it out before we get on board.

Hi, Icat2000, Have just read your review and enjoyed it, not sure what to expect have never been on carnival before. Did you happen to notice much about the shops onboard I normally like to purchase a few Clinique cosmetics at the duty free prices did they have many on there and what was the pricing like? princess ships have a good selection and great pricing.

Heaps of shops on board. Duty free items. Plenty of sales. I brought a couple of things. The cosmestics I like Estelle Lauder seemed to me to be at duty free prices.

Your onboard credit will only show up on you account once on board. Make sure you take a copy of whatever says you are to receive the obc. Enjoy your cruise quite a different experience than princess. Shops are quite good with some good sales. Robin

If for any reason (rarely happens) your onboard credit is not on your stateroom account by Day 2 at the latest - get the front desk to contact your booking agent. The earlier they get it fixed the better. Saying that - I doubt you will have issues! Happy cruising! :)

on one cruise Royal Caribbean forget to give us our OBC but a quick email to our TA sorted out the problem so now we always take confirmation from the TA

My understanding from 2 Carnival Spirit cruises - if obc from TA will not show up but if obc from Carnival it will.

Either way it should be there on your account when you check in or at the account kiosk near the casino.
