Will be cruising on the NCL Star in early Dec 2014:) Am looking for a good local dive shop that could accommodate a 2 tank dive . We are in dock from 8AM until 5 PM I there are located on or close to a beach that would be great so my mom could hang out there Thanks all

Hope this website helps you. It is as far as I know the best in Puerto Vallarta. Be aware however that diving in this area is by far not as good as the caribean. There is no diving from the beach, only in the ocean in areas mentioned on their website.

Water clarity and lack of structure to attract & hold fish make scuba/snorkel excursions so .. so at best. Unless you are a dive nut with a bucket list Cabo or Vallarta will fill, do an excursion that has other activities with scuba/snorkel as just part of the day's activity.

This is just one that I use as an example: http://www.puertovallartatours.net/geronimo-puerto-vallarta-catamaran.htm

Sailed with them quite a bit in the past but eventually switched to a mono-hull day sail instead.

Enjoy!
