Looking for some recent posts on this tour in Maui and can't find anything. It sounds exactly what I am looking for however there are no recent posts on trip advisor either.

Hoping someone can help me out. Looking for a small tour without the all day excursion. Thanks much

We basically did this same tour in August, but we did it for 1/3 of the cost of your tour in our own rental car, stopping where we wanted and staying as long as we wanted. Is there some reason you don't want to drive?

The tour you are considering covers some of the most beautiful areas in Maui, IMO. But, it appears that the tour does not get you all the way to the summit and perhaps not very far up the slopes at all. The views only get more spectacular on the way up, and the view into the crater itself should not be missed. It seems very pricey for what you are getting.

I'd also suggest renting a car to easily drive to the same locations for much less money. The only place that has a fee is Ali‘i Kula Lavender Farm which now charges a $3.00 per person entrance fee.

The company Island Marketing Ltd also offers tours in the Caribbean but I couldn't find much info on the company. Based on their repeatedly misspelling of the well known town of Pa'ia as Pa'ai, I would suspect that the company is not on Maui & possibly a tour broker & not operator of tours.

By searching for "Island Marketing Ltd Maui" one of the sites was this one on Trip Advisor:

Also here's a discussion from 2011 on Cruise Critic which is generally positive although it was said their cancellation fee is 100% and they are a tour booking agent & do not operate the tours.

By searching this forum for Island Marketing Ltd there are several discussions about them & this Maui tour:

Thank u all so much for feedback! Think renting car

I think you'll be very happy with your decision because Maui is so easy to drive around & is nearly impossible to get lost. ;)

The Maui Revealed guidebook (about $12 on Amazon) is great including very easy to follow driving instructions to great spots. Also websites such as Frommer's & Fodor's have some free info about things to do & how to get places. Even the free driving brochure you get is helpful or if you have a smartphone could use Google Maps. My wife recently used the Apple map app to get directions to the Maui cable company & it was completely wrong!
