Crews transferring ships

If crew members come from a certain part of the world say south east Asia, do they swap from Journey to Quest for example, now that Quest is about embark on her voyages to this area?

Not normally they stay with the ship they are allocated to, although sometimes when they come back from leave they switch ships for operational reasons. As the ships alternate regions (ie Journey went to Asia in 2013/4 and will go back 2016/7) they do eventually get a home run

I don't believe this is the case but I did hear some crew who live in Narrogin changed from the Quest to the Journey
