Festival Place in Nassau?

Hey, last year the Festival in Nassau was under construction. (It was a Zoo in the courtyard) Is it open now? Thanks! Mikey

It was a cluster a couple weeks ago.....:eek:

It was that way in October/November 2014. Last month, it looked entirely unchanged.

We were there late February. Yes, still a mess. My husband, being a General Contractor, is anxious to see the finished metal roof. They had started the metal from each end and were attempting to meet in the middle.

We were there a few weeks ago and it was still under construction. They had an area of little booths for hair braiders and whatnot. We walked around the chaos and through to the entrance for the ships.

Sounds like not much has changed in the past year...been like that the last couple times I have visited and am pretty sure it will be like that on the next visit.

I actually liked it better when you could avoid the whole place rather than being forced to walk through it!

Absolutely... I hope they never open this trap back up! ;)

Doesn't RCI contract with the locals about that? Seems like it is part of the "deals" they make to force thousands of passengers to walk through shops funneling money into the local economy.
