Best time to see "big" planes land at Maho? 11AM? 2PM? Is there a schedule?

Hi! Trying to plan out my day in St. Maarten. I want to spend about 30-45 minutes at Maho to see a few planes land and take off. What is the best time to do this? I will be there on a TUESDAY.

Also, how much would a cab be from the Cruise Port? ...and will it be easy to catch a cab once we are finished to go to Marigot? I'm trying to decide if we should RENT A CAR for the day ($90) or just take a few cabs. We don't want to do a tour cause we want to be on our own schedule.

Thanks for your opinions!

Cheers!

Here's today's schedule.

Times and flights are pretty consistent on weekdays as I recall

Here's the link to the taxi fares. Fares are zoned.

Thank you! I would like to get there a little before 11AM and that should be perfect.

I couldn't really get that taxi rate thing cause it was not clear to me which zones I'll be going between... and are the 1-2 Pax prices for EACH passenger?

I want to take a taxi from the cruise port to Maho, then from Maho to Marigot, then from Marigot back to cruise port. Trying to figure out what I'd be spending for two people to see if it's just as cheap to rent a car......

Thanks!!

I think you're close on the cost.

It's $20 for 1 or 2 passengers from the cruise port to the airport (Maho) being in the same zone as the airport. And it's $20 from the airport to Marigot. And then it's $20 from Marigot back to Phillips burg. 3 taxis 3 tips. Plus maybe wait time.

Maybe you can find a discount code for the rental too.

At any rate do give yourself plenty of time to drive back or taxi back from Marigot as traffic can be slow.
