I am wondering if anyone has had any success getting their casino rebate applied to their cruise before their cruise has been paid in full. Here is the scenario: we have a 5 night cruise booked on Anthem of The Seas from

Oct 1 - 6/16, full payment is not due until August 2/16, the cruise is booked in Canadian funds, we have $125US rebate available from Club Royale, problem is, the $125 cannot be applied to the cruise because it is booked in Canadian funds, the rebate is in US dollars, if the cruise has not been paid in full by MArch 15/16, we cannot receive the rebate. We requested it as an OBC, but Club Royale said that it is not possible, the rebate could only be supplied as an OBC, if the cruise is paid in full, otherwise, we lose the rebate. Does this sound right, or am I missing something? Thanks for your help :)

  • 1 month later...

I recently booked a cruise through CR. I had a $575.00 rebate. I am in the U.S., so not sure how this factors in. The information I received was that I had to book by 3/15/16 and sail by 12/31/16 or loose the rebate. The day of booking, I paid the deposit and the CR representative applied my rebate at the same time. It does show up on my confirmation.

Nothing was said to me about having to have the cruise paid in full by 3/15/16. I would call back to CR and speak with them again about applying your rebate. Several CR players I have corresponded with receive different responses from CR.

Supposedly, the new program rolls out on 3/15/16. No one so far has been able to get much information about it.

Good luck!

I emailed Club Royale again and the credit will be an OBC for our upcoming cruise, the cruise didn't have to be paid in full, like the previous staff memeber had indicated...I am a happy cruiser ;)

If you had reservation on a free cruise they wouldn't let you apply your rebate,or do you get any rebates from the free ones, but all you would have to do was make a new cruise reservation for the next few years and the rebate could have cover the whole amount of your rebate to the price, and you can change the trip at anytime and the rebate would have been applied to it.They wouldn't even let me apply it to a upgrade on the next 2 free ones.Really hate to the rebates disappear, happy sailing!:)
