Little Divi Bay or Le Galion?

I will be visiting at the end of January with my two daughters, 3 and 5 years old. As it is just the 3 of us, I'm looking for a relatively calm place, where they can play in the sand, splash around, I can sit on a chair, read a book, have a drink and have a relaxing lunch with them. No interest in plane, water sports, snorkeling etc. Just a quiet beach day. I'm leaning toward just taking a taxi to either Divi Bay or Le Gailion. I'd love opinions on which would be reccomended and why. Thanks!:)

We will be there in two weeks. We are choosing Le Galion as it is supposedly where the locals take their kids. Calm shallow water. 300' out it is reportedly still waist deep. Can report more on our return.

Yes, le Galion is known locally as 'Baby Beach' and often visited by school children on an outing. Weekends can be crowded as families head to the beach.

I can't vouch for the 300' measure, but it has a VERY gradual slope, and is almost always VERY calm.
