I have tried several times to download the Silversea app onto my iPhone but end up with my camera turned on and no apparent Silversea website . Am I alone with this oddity or have others seen this?

I do not think that such an App exists. There is a Silversea Expeditions App in the App Store but that is as you describe just a camera 'Aurasma' (whatever that is).

Hmm...that sounds like what I am downloading. Wonder what a Aurasma is? May have to look it up. Thanks.

OK- I looked it up and still have almost no idea what it is. Something about auras and pictures and how to put Godzilla into them. And why would that have anything to do with Silversea Expeditions baffles me. Sometimes the modern world trips me up.

  • 1 month later...

We were invited to a Silversea presentation at Australia House in London last week and as we left were handed postcards. When you hold an iPad or iPhone over one of them in the Expeditions app you see a short film. Now I understand but I am not sure it is worth it.
