Car rentals near port??

Most car rentals are near the airport. All the usual chains are there.

Cayman Auto Rentals - http://www.caymanautorentals.com.ky - is the only one I'd say is within walking distance of the port, but it's a bit of a hike in the heat.

Further along Seven Mile Beach is Andy's - http://andys.ky - and (I think) a Hertz - they'd need a bus or taxi ride to get to, though.

Andy's is about 1.5 miles from the tender dock. There is a local car rental place by Da Fish Shack less than .5 milrd from the pier.

Cayman Auto Rentals

Indeed, Cayman Auto Rentals is the place by Da Fish Shack as mentioned above. It is the only car rental place within easy walking distance of the tender piers. They do have a variety of vehicles, but best to book ahead if you want a Jeep or something specific.

There are many other chain outlets and local car rental places at the airport. Many will arrange to pick you up near the port and take you to the airport to complete the rental transaction.

how did it go with getting the jeep and the driving on the other side of the road. We have two reserved hubby drives one with the boys and I am driving the other with the girls. Just wondering if it was ok and maybe some reassurance that I can totally do this and itll be ok lol :D
