morry2121 Posted August 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Is it ok to bring these larger bottles of soda on board or does it have to be cans? Also, are larger water bottles allowed?

morry2121 Posted August 16, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Great thanks. Are the mini fridges cold? On our last Carnival cruise, the fridge was basically useless.

I think NCL's fridges are decent, certainly cold enough to keep soda cold.
david_sobe Posted August 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2014 They are electric coolers not refrigerators. Big difference. These coolers are the kinds of coolers people keep under their cubicle at work. They definitely cool drinks. But nothing will be cold or make ice. Partyatsea Posted August 16, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 16, 2014 I was told on the Epic by the HD, when I told him I thought mine had a problem, they are coolers not refridgerators. Some ships seem to have better ones than others. We like to bring 16oz bottles as they are resealable and fit in the "cooler".
Hikini Posted August 17, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 17, 2014 Yes, you can but the bottles will not fit in the fridge (or cooler). We prefer to take the 12-20oz size bottles. Enjoy!
