Snorkel Equipment

I understand there are many places to snorkel right off the beach. However, I don't own snorkel equipment. Can anyone tell me if there is a place I can rent snorkel equipment in Grand Turk?

I don't know about places to rent equipment so can't help with that, we won't do it. Consider buying at least your own snorkel and mask. Remember, this is something you put in your mouth and over your eyes. I have my doubts about how well sanitized rental equipment is. Sure, some may do a great job of this but it only takes one bad place to ruin your day. JMHO. Have a great trip.

We bought our own mask, snorkel, and fins the first time we went. Cost about $45 each. This July will be the 4th time we are using them so it ended up being cheaper than renting 4 times. We added vests to the collection this time.

We too recommend getting your own equipment. We started snorkeling a few years ago, but started by going to a big box sporting goods store and bought a set for under $50 US dollars. Worth it.

Thanks everyone. I had been contemplating getting some snorkel gear. You've all helped me make up my mind to get some.

I just got back from Grand Turk. I didn't see any place to rent but I'm sure that there was somewhere because we saw a decent number of people snorkeling. Most of the islands have rentals somewhere.

I brought my own so I wasn't really looking. Sorry if that didn't help much!
