Our Twizy tour booked through Roadrunner was a great way to explore Bonaire. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjAtqKu4f_JAhXFWCYKHdrwBOsQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.roadrunner-bonaire.com%2F&usg=AFQjCNFCiqRNaIjzLxP7Uz_KNmqjEEpOqA

The Twizies are so much fun & Hans is very personable, witty & full of info about Bonaire.

We did the Trike Tour in Aruba the day before we did the Twizy Tour & when we saw the Twizies my husband thought it would be fun if we were not comparing it to the Trike Tour (which was great) but by the end I think we all thought the Twizies were more fun. We rode along the very scenic coast for a long way & we had to 'floor it' to keep up with Hans! Think Go Cart races! Of course if you don't have the need for speed you could go at your own pace. Our guys LOVED it! And the scenery was gorgeous!

Hans leads the way.

Plenty of stops.

Hans is a little bitty guy! lol

After our tour Hans dropped us off at a beach bar & we really enjoyed the rest of our day there.

I would rate our Twizy tour as one of our top five excursions ever!

Did you feel claustrophobic at all in those cars? And how far is the starting point from the cruise port?

The Twizie's didn't seem that small to me. My husband is 6'2" & he did not have any problems. I would think it would be kind of hard to get in the back seat if you had mobility issues though.

Hans met us at the port & took us in a nice air conditioned van to his house where the Twizy's are. It was not far.

I just put this on a thread:

We just got back from a cruise with a stop in Bonaire. We decided to do something different and booked horseback riding. It was an awesome experience. The couple who runs the ranch are Mark and Bridgett. We were picked up at the ship by Mark. 20 minutes to their ranch and Bridgett had our horses ready. It was about a 30 min ride to the water, then you get to go in the ocean on a horse. The guides lead the horses in the water so it was very safe. We took some pics then headed back to the ranch. They were very friendly and personable and told us a lot about Bonaire. Their horses are well trained and cared for. It is obvious that they love their animals and what they do. Mark then took us back to the ship. I highly recommend them. Here is a link to their site: https://ranchowashikemba.com/

Looks like fun option for the day. Tell us a little more about the Twizys.

Do they drive like a car or more like a golf cart?

Did you drive yourself? Need special license? How about insurance? Did you have to sign a liability waiver? Driving vehicles in foreign countries not usually advisable without temp license and/or insurance.

Are they air conditioned? Don't look like it so did they get hot inside?

We used twizzy tours for our cruise in May. I was great! Yes, they drive like cars. We each drove our own(there were 3 of us) You really get to see the island and there were some nice places to stop. You must have your license with you and you must sign a waiver. We were not hot inside the cars, because we were moving all the time. I would highly recommend this tour.
