Elegant night(s) on 13 night Euro itinerary

have you sailed Europe before? I sail multiple times/year and also have found the above true.

BUT- this is going to be loaded with Americans and is priced more that a lot of ships with better itineraries. There are )way too many Carnival sailors who "won't " sail any other line (beats me why, they're shooting themselves in the foot). Plus there are only a few sailings.

I was on the TA Vista with the above "theme" during the cruise, be prepared for half the ship to be diamond and platinum, and some of those being "miffed" because they aren't so "special". Was an interesting trip with braggarts and complainers. :) :) :)

We have but it was with another line (RC) that tends to be a little dressier anyway on their elegant night, plus it was about 6 years ago so my memory is a little faded. I don't think we'll be too bothered by braggarts or complainers, the itinerary is pretty port intensive so we will be spending plenty of time away from other passengers. ;-) Our evenings are pretty liquid intensive so no one and nothing usually bothers me at all after 5 pm on a cruise.

For us the date is right (17 yr olds spring break coincides) and I don't find the cost prohibitive compared to similar cabins on NCL and RC. For 13 nights, it's only about $500 more total for a balcony than the 7 night cruise I initially had booked on NCL for next June. No desire to try lines beyond these 3 right now.

2 Cruise Elegant nights. Check to see if it is a Journey's Cruise. If so you'll have an 80's day complete with a Captain's Reception and a huge midnight buffet.
