Hello, we are leaving on the Dawn next Friday and my hubby is on crutches recovering from a broken femur. Are the ferries easy to get on and off? Are there steps? We'd like to go to swizzle inn and see dunking of wench . How far are these places from ferry terminals?

The ferries are very easy to enter and exit. There is always a crew member there to assist as well. The "Ducking of the Wench", not dunking, is about a four block walk from the St. George Ferry terminal, some of which is uphill. I am not sure if there are taxis in the area of the ferry terminal that could give you a ride into town but I would think there would be. The Swizzle Inn is on a bus route, not near a ferry terminal at all. There is a bus stop really close to it though if you were to take the bus. Taxis may be your better bet with someone on crutches.
