Gardening is educational. Having only seen the plants in fields as we drove by, I never realized that strawberry flowers were this pretty.

Our neighbors used to grow strawberries, but I sure don't remember the flowers being that lovely.

That red straw baby flower seems rather a rarity - I remember the flowers being white and googling I only found one other photo with a red flower :confused:

Unless of course you employed a little Photoshop creativity ...

Three Musketeers (read Kookaburra)

Moments earlier there were four of these lined up on that branch creating quite a racket with their 'laughter' but before I could get my hands on the camera, one had flown off

Nope...cropped only. They really are pink. We have about a dozen plants growing and all of them came out colored various shades of pink.
