Galveston Fog

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if the fog in Galveston port is time sensitive to the time of year; we are leaving in Late October, Early November and are just looking into booking flights. Do we need to worry about fog this time of year, concerned about late departure.

Weather is what weather is, but since fog is a result of warmer and cooler weather in the various layers of the atmosphere coming together, it's unlikely that you'll have a problem with fog then, but not impossible. :cool:

We average 10 sailings a year (according to the Bay Area Business Development folks) and this year we've had a few. It's usually over by late February.

You should be fine.
