This was the get-together in the casinoi (I think it was from 1-3). There were all kinds of snack type foods including fried shrimp and tiny sandwiches. This was where they gave us the "elite" lanyards and drink cards and we got to mingle with Lilian & Martin.

Every day there were 2 drawings....the snoball drawing and one other one. I won $100 at one of the drawings and $700 in one of the snoball drawings.

Our elite gift was 2 heavy navy blue robes embroidered with the Carnival casino logo.

We also got several bottles of water and there were 6 Coors Light bottles in the cabin for my husband.

We took the helicoptor tour of Antigua for our casino comped excursion and that was great!

More to follow...

Wow that spread looks awesome, I think I gained weight just looking at it. i am so looking forward to this review. I think I have one of those robes, Carlos gave it to me like 3 cruises ago. I just wish October would hurry up and get here because I am so ready for this vacation.

So, this was basically the daily breakdown....

Day 1...car pickup to port, get-together in casino from 1-3 p.m. Here we were given the elite lanyards with drink cards. Went to cabin and saw we'd gotten 2 large bottles of water and 6 Coors light from the casino

Day 2.....11 a.m. snowball drawing for $200, 11 p.m. card draw ($100-$500 given away), midnite.......extra $200 given away

Day 3....11 a.m. snowball drawing for $500 and then 10-12p.m. hot seat promotion

Day 4.....We were invited to dinner in the steakhouse with Lilian and Desi and 3 other couples, 8 p.m. snowball drawing for $600, 11 p.m. Deal or no Deal

Day 5....8 p.m. snowball drawing for $700 (I won this drawing), 11 p.m. ping pong ball throw for cash

Day 6....$800 snowball drawing, 11 p.m bags of cash

Day 7...free elite slot tournament, $900 snowball drawing

Day 8....$1000 snowball drawing

11 p.m. drawing for a free cruise....Grand Suite accommodations, all the "elite" perks

Be sure you're in the casino for the drawings as you have to be present to win!

We received the really nice robes in our cabins on day 7, also got a plate of huge cookies, choc covered strawberries and more bottled water

The biggest surprise was that on day 2 we got a call from the pursers desk with the offer of an upgrade to a Grand suite!!!! In 40 Carnival cruises it was our first ever upgrade! It appears there were some empty cabins and those are offered first to "diamond" level guests.....what a lovely surprise!

It sounds like you had a great time. So nice to see that you won a couple of the snowball draws and that you got an upgrade to the Grande Suite. We are very excited to go on our cruise. This will be our first Elite cruise, and we have not been on one of the premier cruises either. Flying in from Canada is not always easy to get flights at a deal. Thank you so much for the review.

Thank you for the info popsec. It looks to be very similar to a Premier Cruise with a few more extras thrown in. The BIG question is did you have fun and also win lots of money?!!

The private pick-up to/from the port was a welcome extra, also the free drinks anywhere on the ship was a biggie. Plus the free cruise drawing for a "grand suite" with all the "elite" perks again was a definite biggie (sure would have liked to win that!). Also dinner in the steakhouse.

As far as winning in the casino....nope......but it was a great cruise!
