We are staying in downtown Seattle before and after our cruise in May

and can't wait to enjoy and experience Seattle!

My question is what is the best seafood restaurant to eat at in downtown Seattle?

We are really looking forward to having some great food during our stay!

Thanks for your help!!

Try Lowell's in Pike Place. Get there early. They had grilled Hailbut when we went. Great crab cakes also! I also noticed they serve lunch in the Space Needle and we might try that. $30 hamburger, but enjoy the view and the experience!! Probably not Texas beef!!!

WOW! Why am I even trying to answer this question??? Perhaps because like all (NW) Seattleites I am polite and wanting to be helpful, and perhaps because I know how futile a question it can be!

Yesterday the best seafood restaurant was.............

Here is the best I can do..

If I don't care tonight about how many pats of butter at 14 grams a pat- any of Tom Douglas's restaurants= Etta, Palace and a couple others.

If I want to barely get off the island and get right back on - Ivars, the restaurant, not the "grab the chowder and get back on line" outside service where 98% of the tourists are standing.

If I'm in a "laze about a bit" mode, want the perfect view and I have the coupon, "Fisherman's Catch."

For "good old reliable" it's Anthony's.

When tradition trumps all or I am staying at Lake Union, nowhere but RAY's!!!

I'm in the market and hungry- Lowell's or Jake's.

It is really hard to get a bad seafood meal in Seattle.:D
